Set your clock for November 15th at 9am PST, when we’ll open up our pre-order period for the 20+ CERTIFIED ORGANIC dahlia tuber varieties that we have available. Flora Farm offers you premium quality dahlia tubers for pre-ordering for your 2025 garden. We are offering an initial pre-ordering period that begins 11/15/24 and as the winter months allow us to dig more tubers, we will restock, update quantities and have a second pre-ordering period that begins 2/1/25. Orders placed after 4/15/25 will be shipped the Wednesday following your order date. Varieties pictured and listed below are the varieties that we grew this year at Flora Farm and we are glad to share in the abundance of tubers and get some into your hands.
The idea with pre-ordering is that we’ll hold your dahlia tubers in storage for the winter months, keeping them safely protected from frost, until we begin shipping in the warmer months of March and April 2025. You can choose your ideal shipping date when you add the tuber to your cart; keep in mind that it still can frost here and in transit during the month of March and so choosing this shipping date is a little more expensive because we give special attention to packaging your tuber(s) with frost protection. Ordering from our farm is a great opportunity to source hard-to-find tubers grown by a farmer whose name you know. We will only be selling tubers grown at our home Flora Farm. Most dahlias sold in the US are grown abroad and heavily treated with chemicals before arriving to your mailbox. So, join us in enjoying a safe, truly local option.
Once you receive your tubers in the mail, please correspond with us within a week of their arrival if there is any problem with your order. We will include growing tips with each shipment.
