Designing From the Spring Garden Craft & Sip
Designing From the Spring Garden Craft & Sip
Sunday, May 19th at Wooldridge Creek Winery from 1-3pm.
Spring's beauty is at its peak! Come get your hands on some of Flora Farm’s most choice floral materials from the field and greenhouses. Stacey will be harvesting a diversity of botanicals for you to come play with-- things like flowering branches and other “woodies”, flowering bulbs, perennials and hardy annuals. We will each make a unique arrangement from start to finish in a stylish vase that you'll get to take home and Stacey will share pro tips about designing in a vase, tools needed, and flower selection. You'll be able to put your new (or improved) skills to use right away with local flowers from area farms, your garden/home landscaping, or with flowers from the grocery store.
Get ready for fabulous colors, textures and aromas-- basically the best of what's available from Stacey's organic flower farm this time of year. Spring weather in Southern Oregon is unpredictable so bring your jacket, a pair of snips, and a love of flowers to this artisanal experience. Class price includes flowers, vase, instruction and charcuterie from the winery. Wine will be available for purchase.
Stacey Denton, a flower farmer with 15+ years of experience designing for weddings and special events, will provide comprehensive instruction in the care and design of your centerpiece. We’ll be creating foam-free arrangements from Flora Farm’s organically-grown materials, so you can be assured that you’ll bask in the sweet scent, the crisp freshness, and the high quality of these botanicals in a way that can’t be experienced from imported flowers. This workshop makes a great gift for Mom so near to Mother’s Day!
