End-of-Summer Flower Arranging Craft & Sip Workshop
End-of-Summer Flower Arranging Craft & Sip Workshop
Learn to arrange the last and best of late summer flowers like a pro while sipping wine with friends new and old.
As the season begins to change from Summer to Fall, what could be better than playing with the last flowers of the warm season? Get your hands on gorgeous dahlias, plus 10-15 other types of organic flowers and foliage grown at Flora Farm during our foray into fresh floral design at Wooldridge Creek Winery. Learn a new skill (or improve a familiar one), sip delicious wine, and enjoy an afternoon outside in the Applegate Valley. We will each make a unique arrangement from start to finish in a stylish vase that you'll get to take home and Stacey will share pro tips about designing in a vase, tools needed, and flower selection. You'll be able to put your new (or improved) skill to use right away with local flowers from area farms, your garden/home landscaping, or with flowers from the grocery store.
Get ready for fabulous colors, textures and aromas-- basically the best of what's available from Stacey's organic flower farm this time of year. Fall weather in Southern Oregon will likely be mild but bring your jacket, a pair of snips, and a love of flowers to this artisanal experience. Class price includes flowers, vase, instruction and charcuterie from the winery. Wine will be available for purchase.
Stacey Denton has been growing and designing with flowers for over two decades. She runs Flora Farm & Design Studio in Williams, OR and loves sharing her enthusiasm for all things green and growing through teaching and flowering events throughout Oregon and Northern California.
