Winter Tulip Subscription

Get a jump on fresh flower season with a Winter Tulip Subscription. At Flora Farm we utilize an indoor growing space to force these tulips to bloom 8-10 weeks before they normally would do so in Spring. That means you’ll have beautiful colors and scents to brighten up your winter months with new tulips every week for four weeks each period. These CSA shares will be available for four weeks January/February and February/March and cost $64 per subscription for local pick-up. Pick up locations are in Williams, Provolt, & Grants Pass, Tuesdays, 1/21-2/11 and 2/18-3/11 with the pick-up at the farm, Whistling Duck Farm, and Partake Shop & Lounge; In Jacksonville, pick up Fridays 1/24-2/14 and 2/21-3/14 at Jefferson Farm Kitchen. Shares are comprised of 8-stem bunches.

***We also have an overnight FedEx shipped option for $300 per subscription for customers anywhere in the continental US.*** Customers receive 20 stems of organic tulips per week for four consecutive weeks. Shipping occurs every Wednesday, beginning 1/22 and the last possible 4-week subscription would end on 3/19. PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING AND HANDLING, so you will pay no additional fees at check-out. Expect your order to arrive on Thursday and someone must be present at the address to receive it. Don’t fear— your tulips tolerate traveling well, and we guarantee our fresh cut and shipped products in the case that something doesn’t go according to plan.

Purchase your subscription of tulips through Flora’s CSA Program. CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture” and is a vital component of today’s small-scale family flower farms. Here’s the idea of CSA’s: farmers have months of large, early season expenses we face before our produce is ready to sell; the up-front purchase of a share of the farm’s produce before the harvest season begins helps to pay for those costs and ensure farmers have a secure market for their goods. All of our CSA options make excellent gifts for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Anniversaries and Birthdays, and for any other special event you want to show your love.
